right well, i wanted a really good christmas cd with all the obvious faves on to get me in the mood, but i haven't found one yet so i thought i might make me own.

so far ive got the obvious cheesy ones on me list: wham/maria/john l/slade/wizzard/bing c

anyone got any other ideas?

Phil Spector's "A Christmas Gift For You" has some classic Christmas songs with a more contemporary feel to it.

Well you need to be looking at your Val Doonican, Bing Crosby, Andy Williams type thing. Wonder if Des O'Connor ever did a Christmas album? :*:

music wise im thinkin more of george in the snow with his bouffant hair and baroness-type furcoat

I haven't seen Holiday Inn but I have White Christmas - is it exactly the same?
