The final album by the late Alvin Stardust is compared to Mr H in one of the reviews - and on a first listen, it sounds quite decent. Clips here - https://itunes.apple.com/gb/album/alvin/id919617305 Disclaimer - I'm slightly biased, because my mate Scott Ralph had a big hand in the making of the album. |

Lucky bastard. Jools is in my five... probably number 3... Anyhow, this is beautiful. I love Paul Heaton, because he's talented and he's righteous. And Jacqui is just gorgeous. And it has a brass band – one of the most symbolic brass bands too. My son is lead trombone in a brass band and they send me into spontaneous, behind the programme crying every time... honestly son, I got a fly in my eye... x http://www.theguardian.com/music/musicblog/2014/nov/24/paul-heaton-jacqui-abbott-loving-arms-video-premiere?CMP=share_btn_tw |
