After months of enjoying " Coles Corner " and " Lady`s Bridge " i went out and got " Lowedges ". It was so good i went out today and got " Late Night Final ". I`m gonna do what i did with the last cd and save it for Saturday when its quiet and i won`t be interrupted. I have every confidence it`s gonna be just as good . I got this in Zavvi ( Virgin ) for £5. They also had the album " Richard Hawley " for £8.

I bought Richard Hawley 'Richard Hawley' from HMV on sunday for £6. Not as instant as CC and LB but after 3 days of shanks' and bus journey soundtracking its beginning to stick. Happy Families in particular.

I've found myself singing 'Caned' a few times, which is kind of unfortunate for the people around me :*: But I love it :D

Jeepers! Now I know where you get your band name from. Dustin Gee'll spinnin' in his Southport plot.

Well, just had my first listen to L N F. Naturally, i enjoyed it immensely.
The songs have a much simpler feel to them compared to the songs on the later albums. All in all :thumleft: :thumleft: :thumleft:

Finally bought LNF a couple of weeks ago and Baby You're My Light is now officially my favourite RH track. Getting a bit teary-eyed just thinking about it... Absolutely beautiful. How does Mr Hawley always manage to put into words what the rest of us think and feel but just can't express? Hat's off to you Sir! You've offically turned me into an emotional blubbering wreck! ..> ..> ..>

Never apologise. Nowt wrong with feeling. Listening to Lowedges today driving up M3 and missed turning on to M25 'cos "singing" along ... so now I know alternative route via M3 and A-road to Staines missing 30,000 pompey fans heading for wembley.

There isn't a song on any of your CDs that doesn't hit me, doesn't make me question, doesn't make me feel and curl up with raw emotion. I'll always run the risk of a seriously hard slap for taking piss out of "threads with no name" and people not getting my humour .... but this is all about the music, and everything you write seems so true, so genuine and for me so real. Thank you.
