It wasn't available here in the States to stream until yesterday. Added it on iTunes first thing yesterday morning, listened to it twice on the way to work, twice on the way home, and today again. (Figuring out how to get the CD here as well.) Also went back and am making my way through all the albums from the beginning, which I haven't done in a long time. It's a treat. Don't think I can afford a trip to see any of the gigs, but really trying to figure out how.

Midnight Train has me swooning. Can't get enough of that track. Anyway, it's all got me nostalgic for the forum, so popped back in to sing my appreciation and say hi.

CD arrived on Friday. I'm a bit of an old bugger but felt like a youngster again, just like Chumley.

The album is simply superb; I just love the eclectic mix of rock, songs with a country feel and little stories in the lyrics. Richards voice never better and all instruments so well balanced in the mix. Well done to a brilliant RH team.

I'm afraid I've cheated & listened on YouTube, as I'm collecting my LP later from the post office. Notwithstanding the terrible sound on my laptop - I love it ..>

Further is number 3 in the official album charts.

However the album is number 2 in physical album sales, and topped vinyl sales.

(I wonder if downloads account for dropping down one position in the official chart?)

Although the LP and CD arrived on Wednesday, I haven't been able to listen to them until today. I've been doing so all afternoon / evening, and I love the new album. I love how it sounds familiar yet new. One of the (many) things I like about Richard's music is how every new album is different from what came before. You can't get bored! I haven't made up my mind yet about what my favourite song is. I'm looking forward to hearing them live, so I hope Richard will include Madrid in a future European tour.

Hi, Mr Hawley and all. Greatings from Brazil. For me, Further ranks among your best records (but then again... don't they all?). Really. Further is an absolute pleasure! First day I listened to it I did it three times in a row (as I was walking). Then I got home and blast it on my home theater 2 times more... and before going to bad I had to listen to the best ones once again: Is there a pill is simply one of your best songs ever ever ever... Further (the song) sounds so deceptively simple but is huge, Midnight Train is superb... - A great record. Congrats. You did it once again.

Edmilson Rocha.
