I've not seen this, but I know Richard is interviewed throughout the film. The RSD single is just the song by The Batteries but includes a download of the film.

Can anyone advise me if the forthcoming Record Store Day release Funny Cow/Love Me whether Love Me is a Cover of the Elvis Presley song ?

The Funny Cow web site advises that the songs will be available to download from 21 April as well so if you are happy with an mp3 rather than queuing from silly o'clock in the morning, that is the way to go. I suspect I will be queueing :*:

Interestingly the FC website lists a different b-side title to the one RSD provided:

"We are proud to announce that Cadiz Music will be releasing the original song ‘Funny Cow’, written and performed by Richard Hawley, as a single on April 21st as part of Record Store day.
‘Funny Cow’ is the title track taken from the film with Richard Hawley also scoring the soundtrack with heartfelt emotion. Along with providing the music, Richard also takes on a role and duets with Corinne Bailey Rae as a club-singing group performing beautiful version of Richard’s ‘I Still Want You’.
As well as being available as a download, the single – which has ‘Funny Cow’ as an A-side and ‘A Little Bit More’ as a B-Side – will also be released as a 7” Vinyl single with radio air play lined up closer to the release of the film."

if you mean the twanging track over the beginning of the film,
it's by our pal Steve Buckley and the band he put together The Wagon Train
get it here, it's mint.

Several copies on e-bay, two are for sale at lower than the RSD price. Search for Funny Cow RSD although some are listed as 7" rather than RSD.

Got mine from Bug Vinyl in Beverley. They still had three or four more copies when I left, about 10:30 am yesterday.
