i want your dog. is he pure lab or has he got a bit of staffy in him. the drive to kirkstone pass from ambleside is legendary, especially if you're in a clapped out car with another 3 fat bastards for passengers. the pub down the road at troutbeck, the queens head, is a belter too. i could tell a tale about a drunken night, a party of gays, a water pistol fight and a birthday cake made out of soil in that establishment but it's too sordid!
He's aboslutely 100% pure lab. We got him from a farm in Wilsden near Bradford where the lady had bred her dogs back to the original and larger 'style' of labrador. She breeds for looks and temperament and he is the most gentle, obedient and affectionate of animals. He's 7 now but still absolutely fab. His brother won his class at Crufts a few times and the breeder was offered £30,000 for him ........... and she said she wishes she'd kept ours because he's the better specimen of the two .......... wouldn't part with him for any amount of money ...... might do a time share though
Troutbeck sounds interesting! I love going up to Kirkstone via 'The Struggle' - the first road up just before Troutbeck, I think?
