I'm jealous! Hope it all goes well. I've been to Vicenza once, on a train, for about 30 minutes.....

Greetings from Italy! <*>
The weather has been very hot, but after a thunderstorm it is cooler and more pleasant. Taken pics, but will post when i have my own internet...

I have started work (INSET training) and i have a lovely little classroom overlooking the square. I have been apartment hunting today. The funniest one was a yellow tiled place where the sofa bed was the actual bed. It had a dining table at the end of the bed (convenient for brekky!) and a bizarre light fitting in the shape of a little wooden plane! Won't be taking that... Saw some great ones too.

Greetings to all in Hawleyland. x

Is it advertised somewhere in the web, with photos? It must be worth seeing. :D Glad to see you seem cheerful and happy in Italy, and waiting for your pics of Vicenza.

P.S. Oh Little Dickie, your avatar... I didn't think the story had spread so far. My boss went all the way there (more than 200 miles) last weekend and had a photo taken with it.

hi there,
you are in a beautiful place and you have very beautiful cities around you, Verona, Padova and Venezia.
you should visit them when you have enough time...for sure! then you have to go to the Garda Lake and...of course...maybe during a weekend, you have to come here where i live...in Liguria...to visit Sestri Levante, Chiavari (where i live), Santa Margherita and Portofino.

it should be enough! ahah... :D

I'm really looking forward to exploring the country. I also have quite a few early finishes, so I will definitely be taking advantage of them. Would love to visit your area too!

I move into my new apartment tomorrow. It's very modern, and has a lovely sunlit archway entrance and a terrace. After where i used to live, this is amazing.
