I've just had my first ever Lake District trip with Mr DisneyTime. It was gorgeous, we were so lucky with the weather, everything was so green... Lots of gorgeous walks and drives and hikes up hills. And midgies. Very much recommended.

It was perfect, so pleased we did it. Going somewhere Highland-y next I think... :D

Yeahh I thought... Rollier and greener and smoother and more walls and paths, but loads like Scotland. Hilly and rugged and friendly and midgie filled and still absolutely gorgeous when it's pissing down :D I loved it. I've missed camping.

Can't wait to go back and see it in winter... From the comfort of a B&B, I suspect.

Did you do the Wrynose & Hardknott passes? Your 7th picture reminds me of those.

We didn't, I'd love to though... Next time maybe. That's Kirkstone Pass - home of one of the highest pubs in England apparently. There's a photo of it on my facebook but my computer's being stupid about uploading it :x

 ... Was it... A big tent, by any chance? Or a really small motorbike?

Oh dear. Priorities. There were people on the campsite who had pinned sheets of tarpaulin so they completely covered both of their tents... :?

You can tell a lot about a fella by the size of his tent.
