In Alnwick last night at their Playhouse to see Musical Milestones with Johnnie Walker. What a great evening! Just Johnnie talking us through his life, interspersed with slides and music. He is such a warm and friendly guy you feel like part of his family! He gave Richard a mention too. Off to Buxton today for a couple of nights, seeing a production of 1984 at the Opera House. Aren't long weekends great! |

Two of my favourite places - was in Alnwick over October half term - and Buxton for his Hawleyness last September. |

Funny, so was I...Alnwick has a brilliant HUGE 2nd hand bookshop called Barter Books, it's supposed to be one of the largest in the country, well worth a visit. |

Went to Hay on Wye in the late 90's - the whole town is one big bookshop! Samantha was interested in the books - I was interested in the boozers |
