Chatsworth is a great place to visit and walk around. We often do the 7/8 mile circular walk around the estate, especially in winter but anytime really is great.
Last weekend we walked around Longnor (Derbyshire/Staffs border, very near Buxton) for the first time. The 10 miles or so in the warm weather was very challenging (still ache!) but the views from Chrome Hill (pronounced "Chroome" by the locals) was fantastic.
