Thanks for sharing. It's weird how much Cornwall looks like the other extreme of country, the Orkney Isles. My favourite place on the planet...

I need to do Cornwall one of these days.

never been there (Orkney Islands) but i've been in Scotland and yes, the coast, the cliffs are similar of course....especially the North Cornwall reminds me the Sky Island....wow.
I maybe loved more the North Cornwall....all the cosat from Bude to St. Just is stunning, it's something than beautiful....even if all the Cornwall is magic....the soth I love for the beaches....
it's been a lovely holiday also because we met very friendly people there.

Sky Island (been there in 2007)

When I was 16, my mum was on a writing course in Camelford and we ended up visting Boscastle, which was an absolutely lovely little town, with it's jewellery shops and the witchcraft museum. We stopped off at this lovely little cafe and had a proper cornish tea with clotted cream and jam. Lush.

Alas, this before the big storm came through there, so it's probably all changed now.

They are all lovely photos :D we went to the Norfolk Broads this year and it was stunning!! Such a peaceful place, our bedroom overlooked the broads and the ducks woke us up every morning, I was like a little kid running out in my jim jams to give them bread :*: When we were younger our parents took us to Scotland, in the middle of nowhere places, I loved it, playing on the beach with no one else around, a two hour drive to the nearest shop.........bliss!! Give me places like this anyday over a beach/clubbing holiday.
