That last pic looks like your inside a pint of Guinness - and if the limit is 2500 on tickets that's my type of weekender [although I think I'd book a week]... I couldn't be doing with standing in a field with 100000+ others any more -I'm a bit past 50 and I have genration gap problems with those young 'uns under 45 [that includes me missus]... [Just found out that its on the 18 + 19 09/2009 and as thats a few weeks into the school year its a no no - pity... So now I'm off to search for other low key weekenders that take 2000 punters]

Bought tickets for Loopallu about 3 weeks ago.Always fancied atour around the North West of Scotland so we are going for 10 days so that we can take lots of it in. Thanks to mph for all the info.

Very amazing pictures, thanks for sharing! i was there last summer, beautiful. i visited almost all the Scotland. It was one of the best holiday of my life. the most beautiful moment was at Isle Of Sky...wow...what a beautiful memories... the end of the holiday was in Edinburgh....with the Richard Hawley show at the Queen's Hall..oh my God I was totally in love/mad/crazy...

Thought it might be Scotland - I've not been yet but definitely someday. It reminds me of driving from Bergen to Geilo over the mountain, because up there all the trees disapeer and it's just water, shorter plants and mountain as far as you can see, and the air is so different from down at sea level. Looks very peaceful.

Anyone been to Plockton? It's about 6 miles north of the Kyle Of Lochalshe. I try and go fairly often - it's a beautiful place. I took this picture at Stromemore Castle just on the other side of the inlet to Plockton.
