I'm surprised no-ones mentioned these before (actually, i'm surprised i haven't until now)!
I had the pleasure of supporting them with Roaming Son the other night at the Greystones in Sheffield, courtesy of Craig.
Was an absolutely cracking night!
The combined musical forces of Luke Doucet and Melissa McClelland...otherwise known as Whitehorse.
Absolutely fantastic live. great songs, geat harmonies, great guitar playing.

They play songs in the dark - and that always gets my vote ..>

People should play more songs in the dark.

Yeah, the first time i saw them together was just under Luke Doucet & Melissa McClelland, and they swapped playing stuff off each of their albums., actually, if my dad hadn't won luke's 'Bloods Too Rich' album in the raffle at the second OR8 our kids gig, they would probably still have passed me by.
that gig was one of the best i've been to, didn't know what to expect, and they just blew me away.
Think they are off on a european tour right now (they mentioned Holland), but i'm sure luke said they would be back at the end of the year.
Definately not to be missed.
