Just back from Rhythm Riot and JD McPherson outclassed every act there. Relatively short set, but real quality and a great sense of energy- in short, sublime. Now he just needs persuading to do a UK tour....

Cool But what's with the laboured Flaming Lips references though...even a link to their song? "if you happen to believe all music from that state sounds like Wayne Coyne and friends." What? "To be honest, anyone expecting the follow-up to Yoshimi Battles the Pink Robots Pts 1 and 2..from this new artist should probably alight here " Eh?
