sounds great- just got into them recently so i've been giving them a right plug on my radio show (along with Rich of course) - Cant stand the schlock that gets churned out over the airwaves these days, so I make a point to play some proper music... oh to be back in the 50's/60's

Check out the first Cousteau album - best track is Last Good Day of the Year. Unfortunately we can't put the music on the My Space that I have linked in my signature as EMI decided they owned the copyright to the music and had it removed (they don't own it but we would have to go to court to get them to admit they don't and the guys don't have the money for that).

Obviously I also recommend Liam McKahey's music (Cousteau singer) but I'm biased as I manage him. (His music is on his My Space site).

(Oh and I'm not Dave by the way, it often confuses people but he's the moderator/musician - I'm Denise but he'll be well pleased with the fact you're playing the music and that it is liked).

ok I'll definitely check out those ones and I'll be sure to play some, I had a listen on itunes and really liked it - so another new fan here, I'll try and make some more for you guys.

Sorry about that, I wasn't quite sure but it's late and I'm up cos I gave myself a bit of a foot injury tonight so im up in pain watching Mr T sell pressure cookers! Good to meet you Denise, I'm Will by the way

The Tindergigs link now has additional tracks - one from Gideon Coe's show and the song that was only available on a 7" vinyl at shows when Hungry Saw was released.

I love peanuts! I love this album too. More than made up for the disappointment of the new Midlake LP.

I like the Midlake but it is not as good as their previous one.

But I do agree re the Tindersticks, it is very good.

They walked off stage at last night's gig in Eindhoven because some of the audience would not be quiet. No warning, no telling them to shut up, just walked off.

I kind of admire them for that, but annoying for those who did want to hear the songs and were being quiet who only got a 35 minute set.

that's very odd as in the past Stuart always said he hated the idea of people thinking they've got to be super quiet all through the gig!
