Karen, saw them live with DAWoodcock and Romeobrass, and they were two very lovely, gentle, ethereal spirits ... beautifully low key; a mid-west 30s dirt-bowl weariness yet grapes of wrath type enduring humanity to their performance. Women negotiating the london underground whilst strumming acoustic guitars and yearning for a prairie. :wink:

I got a free download emailed today off the Smoke Fairies, coz i'm on the mailing list. It's called 'I Wonder As I Wander' and it's a really beautiful christmassy number. They asked all recipients not to share the link so i'm gonna respect their wishes. But if you want it, go to their myspace page and join the mailing list and they will email details of how to download it. :wink:
