I've mentioned this in the 'Songs' section but this band were supporting Neil Young at the weekend and really blew me away, (as did Neil Young)! I'd never heard of My Morning Jacket before so I'm sorry if I'm behind the times with this one but I've just been checking out their 'My Space' page and there are two songs particularly that I can't stop playing:
Thank you too!
and
Sec Walkin'

Does anyone know anything about them?

And grace is just the measure of a fall.

I just ordered the album online tonight. Me and my mate had never heard of them so before they came on stage we went off for a bit of a wander to get the pints in but we were immediately drawn back by the first song they played, 'I thank you...'
They really won the crowd over and got a big clap at the end even though I'm sure there were many in the crowd like me who were hearing them for the first time. I had a look at their site tonight and apparently they've been going for quite a few years. They had competely passed me by until yesterday. Top band

MMJ are amazing!!! I first saw them open up for the Doves here in San Francisco a few years back, and was so impressed i went right over and bought their CD (and then their second one when it came out). Now they are headlining the Greek Theatre in Berkeley (which has about 8000 capacity) this summer! Awesome.
