I saw an elsebound train, on the overpass
In the driving rain, every ticket costs the same
For where you can't go
Mustang horses, champagne glasses
Anything frail anything wild
It's the price of living motion, what's beautiful is broken
And grace is just the measure of a fall.

I've just got his album and it's rapidly becoming my favourite of the year.

That's the one that got me - when he sings high up at the end of each chorus. Really beautiful. 'I don't like the man I am' is pretty stunning too. They also recorded the new album down at Toe-Rag studios in Hackney which is an amazing place - I went there when I lived in London and it's like stepping back in a timewarp. I don't think Liam Watson's got much stuff in there that's later than 1965.

I saw him do a gig in Manchester last week btw - excellent.

I've just seen on Pete's site - http://www.petemolinari.co.uk/site.html - that he's supporting RH at the gigs in Warrington and Derby next week. That makes me wish I was going there instead of (or as well as) the Albert Hall.
And he's also supporting RH at Holmfirth Picturedrome on Friday 15 August......anyone know how to get to Holmfirth by public transport?
