whats other two then, chris?

Miller's Crossing and I have a big soft spot for The Hudsucker Proxy.

Most of the others I'd judge pretty closely to them though. In fact apart from the obvious 2, Barton Fink (which although I liked thought was a bit too up it's own arse for it's own good overall) & Oh Brother Where Art Thou (again which I liked but thought was well below their usual standards), I think they're all pretty much perfect.

In the driving rain, every ticket costs the same
For where you can't go
Mustang horses, champagne glasses
Anything frail anything wild
It's the price of living motion, what's beautiful is broken
And grace is just the measure of a fall.

Thank god someone who feels the same way.Was beginning to feel that the almost sycophantic worshiping of this current coen bros film by site members was going too far,yes they have produced masterpieces in the past, but sadly this is not one of them.

for me the last quarter turned it from a great film into a brilliant one, I love having expectations confounded. It was unexpected & very strange what with the accident and all.

In the words of Lou Rawls, 'Bam, right on'

The last scene flawed me. Left the cinema in a daze. My kind of film.

Left me with a similar feeling that 'Once Upon A Time In The West' did.

The ending is the same ending in the book, apprently.

For me the ending summed up the whole film. Tommy Lee Jones' last speech laid out everything that had happened.
