Went to see this with my sister on Sunday .... I know what you're thinking ... it's a film about old folk and, of course, it is, but it's just lovely. No surprises, suspense or high drama but the combination of really funny, proper laugh out loud moments and really moving, sad parts was just what we needed.
Terence Stamp (even at 74) is fabulous (well, I would say that wouldn't I
) and he carries the film; the sight of him in a pair of striped pyjamas, filling a hot water bottle from a kettle is going to stay with me forever!!
