Anyone watching this? I have enjoyed all the Scandinavian dramas the BBC and ITV have bought up in the wake of The Killing. It's maybe a cynical reason for buying, but they have all been good in their own way.
This begins with the body of a woman placed on the bridge between Malmo and Copenhagen with an exact half in each country. Then they find that both body parts are not from the same woman.
Initial themes are empathy (or lack of) and body parts (or lack of).
Interesting stuff.

My mum recommended this, and now I've been sucked into it.

Great stuff. Missed "The Killing" so am kind of catching up with the Scandi-crime drama.

Don't you think Kim Bodnia (Martin) looks a bit like George Best?

I am watching this and enjoying it. I liked The Killing too. I also watched Bergen which was a political rather than crime drama but was equally compelling. Is Martin the 70s throw back? I find him quite disturbing for some reason. He looks as though he should be in a 70s soft porn film. I keep thinking some jazzy music is going to start and he will offer to mend the washer while a scantily clad blonde starts unzipping his trousers......

Another great couple of episodes on Saturday. The bit with the wig was interesting.
The male lead does have a Best look. And thanks for the 70s porn image. I'm sure that will keep popping into my head as I watch! :*:

Sorry - the 70s throw back isn't Martin. Not sure I see him as George Best but he does have nice eyes. Didn't see it all last night - too much celebration of the Owls promotion win - so will have to watch it on iplayer but what is it with the wig and why did removing it prompt Martin to jump into bed with her? Maybe the answer came later on and I missed it.

Just caught up with Saturday's episodes. A few interesting developments, esp. the casual infidelity...

I think its the best thing on at the moment, now that Homeland has finished... Saga and Martin are a great double act... and I am the only one who finds him a teeny bit sexy ???

[quote]He looks as though he should be in a 70s soft porn film.[quote] I thought that too - talking about Stefan right ? has his heart in the right place but just killed a violent , abusive husband.... I love the different strands but wonder how him and his sister fit in... or perhaps they don't really?? who cares, its great...
