Not a huge fan but just watched the BBC documentary about making Darkness on the Edge of Town album in '78. Found it an absolutely fascinating insight into his songwriting and recording process. Worth watching.

He can do no wrong as far as I'm concerned. One of the best live acts I've ever seen and I love everything he's ever done. Really looking forward to catching the documentary over the weekend.

have bits and bobs of his, his back catalogue always seemed really daunting to get stuck into it be so vast but I did myself a favour and bought the new boxset of his first 6 albums thats doing the rounds, only set me back 21 notes too. Some good Christmas listening right there.

I saw an elsebound train, on the overpass
In the driving rain, every ticket costs the same
For where you can't go
Mustang horses, champagne glasses
Anything frail anything wild
It's the price of living motion, what's beautiful is broken
And grace is just the measure of a fall.
