if you like (or dislike) street art and artists. do not expect to see what you expect. As Banksy puts it, it s hardly gone with the wind. good soundtrack (Hawley's opening and closing the movie....nice street cred here, Richard!) |

Aside from exposing brainwash "fakeness", there is some stuff about Sheppard Fairey, the man behind OBEY (and more widely known for the Obama poster). http://obeygiant.com/ |

I started to watch Exit Through the Gift Shop on Saturday night on Channel 4, I had a migraine so didn't see it to the end. It was very interesting. I should have recorded the end, will have to watch out for it again. |

watched it again. and it's very good. i like the tone. the angle. I love it when guetta finally shows his movie to banksy and it s just an uninterupted mad & fast flow of images and cuts."life remote control". so banksy cancels it and advise him to do a couple of prints and it creates a "monster"(which in all fairness to Brainwash, manages to make a bundle in no time, which can be viewed, in a way, as very smart, and well done to him for that). and again very cool for Hawley to open and close it, really. |

The start and the end were the best bits, I found Thierry a bit irritating. The film is an interesting concept and fascinating to see how Banksy and the other street artists in the film work. |
