This BBC 70's series based in a John Le Carre novel is amazing, Alec Guinnes is on it and is a classic Cold war spy story, brilliant!!
Is like Spooks in slow motion, I love it.

Remember watching it at the time and it was compelling! It did seem slow and I should'nt have liked it but it was so intriguing and well acted. On reflection it was probably the performance of Alec Guiness that drew me to it week after week.
