Firstly apologies if this has been mentioned elsewhere, but Im just giving it a re read I had forgotten what a great book it is which must have been a pain as well as a pleasure to write.
I will admit my first impression of Ian Clayton were Oh no not another stage rent a Yorkshireman, but how wrong I was, his breadth and knowledge and love of music shines through every page and boy can he tell a story.I wrote to Ian after I read it ( something I have never done before) and he wrote back almost return of post, the guy is a gent ( nice little tale of RH in the book as well ) A fucking fantastic book
