I was watching a movie called 'Lars and the Real Girl' the other day and it reminded me of the video for 'Serious'!The movie tells the story of a young man who falls in love with a doll and treats it as if it were a real person.There are many similarities between the movie and the 'Serious' video and I was like 'what a big coincidence!' I wonder if anyone on here has seen this movie and felt the same.Perhaps not many of you have seen or heard of it so here are some useful links:

Oh and I must say that I absolutely love the video for 'Serious'!It's so funny that every time I watch it I can't help laughing.And the ending that Richard meets 'the real girl' is a nice surprise.

Thank you for your welcome Richard.It's so incredible that I can sort of talk to my favourite artist that I have so much respect for...I wish one day I could go to your gigs.Speaking of gigs,I wonder if there's any chance of releasing a DVD of your live performances and maybe together with all the promo videos?Watching clips recorded by fans in gigs on YouTube is really far from enough...And your music videos such as the immensely beautiful 'The Ocean' definitely should all be viewed in high resolution.

Back to the topic.I think you guys are so creative and imaginative.I guess you must have had a wonderful time shooting the video.

Lars & The Real Girl is a fantatic film - watched it a couple of months ago & really enjoyed it.

Indeed, Mr Gosling is one of the best actors around at the mo-the film is a knockout.
