I have loads of pears on my pear tree and yet no apples on my three apple trees. And it is supposed to be an excellent apple harvest. What's that about then?

I make jewelry and I love it. Love love love it. The designing, the gathering of materials, the creating, and then I run into the monotony of putting on earwires, cutting chain, putting on clasps, etc. The repetition of actually finishing what I make is mind-numbingly boring to me. It's necessary, but my brain just doesn't go that way. You'd think the routine would be kind of zen and soothing, not so much. What a ridiculous complaint! It's not breaking rocks and I really do enjoy it so much. It's not that bad honestly, I just needed a mini mental break from it, so I'm whining about it here! Carry on, as you were. I am a terrible person.:-) But really, if you make anything, there's usually a part of it at some point during the creation that makes you want to beat your head against a wall. You guys know what I'm talking about.

I have the same thing. It was the opposite last year, and the year before. There's a lot of pears fallen off the tree as well. Wonder what's going on

Maybe your trees are having a rest after their three productive years? anyway ours is groaning under the weight of its fruit and the wasps are having a field day with the windfalls.

F**king hate wasps! They have no point and no place, unlike bees who do so much good,
although personally I don't like honey (bee shit), anyway, wasps!

A wasp had the audacity to venture into the last slurp of my pint the other day (bastard), but
instead of letting it escape and waving it off I picked my pint up and gave said wasp a 1200
spin cycle!

Now question is, when the wasp has stopped being dizzy, would it die from drowning or from
alcoholic poisoning? :eh?

Yep.....Monday....Work.....Bored.

Wasp actually died by being squashed by the afore mentioned pint glass!

Note to self:

When on countdown to end of March redundancy, resist the urge to tell your boss to fuck off/kiss your arse/ that they are a c@@t.

Think of the money, think of the money... xx

I hate wasps. Evil and spiteful. People can try and defend them all they want but they serve no purpose on this earth. I was standing at a cash machine minding my own business when I felt a sharp pain on my foot. A wasp was stinging away merrily. Why? For what purpose? A week later I was in hospital because my foot had become so badly infected. The next year a wasp started flying round me and, instead of flapping at it, I calmly crossed over the road to get out of its way. I felt a sharp pain on my forearm. The said wasp was stinging me. Why? Bastard. I get upset seeing any creature being hurt but I draw the line at wasps. I could happily torture one in true James Bond villain style. Egg, I hope your wasp suffered alcohol poisoning and drowned. Bastard.

Helen, if you do get made redundant I hope the pay out is awesome and don't hold back when saying cheery bye to your boss. X

I'm thinking of covering Taylor Swift's 1989 album, with my eldest niece. Only thinking, mind. And I haven't told her yet.

So, working from home and a chugger from Unicef knocks on the door. "Sorry to disturb you," she says looking past me into the hallway. "I see you're busy, are you packing?" Me: "No, I'm not." Her: "Ah, sorry, I thought with all the stuff in the hall I'd caught you moving house..." Ouch... x
