Freedom, Helen!!

I left work on Thursday - I completed the regular Staff Survey before i went and left them in no doubt what I thought of management and the general state of the place. I start my new job in a different Government department tomorrow so I resisted the urge to tell anyone how I felt about them personally, although I did have an 'interesting' conversation with a BNP sympathiser who chose to cut it short

Bit of a funny week, lots of tears, lots of memories, and Craig and I are now shacked up together, moving into a new place in a couple of weeks so loads to look forward to.
(I blame Mr Hawley)

Every chimp needs someone to pick out his fleas...

As you know I am proper made up for the pair of you. Monkey boy will awake each day and realise his birthday and Christmas have come at once, sharing life with such a massive fucking catch as yourself. A life basking in this eternal gratitude awaits you darling... the lucky, lucky bastard!

You know me, I'm not soft, but I think you're both very lovely and deserve your happiness. Best of luck to you both. xxxxxxxxx

I saw an elsebound train, on the overpass
In the driving rain, every ticket costs the same
For where you can't go
Mustang horses, champagne glasses
Anything frail anything wild
It's the price of living motion, what's beautiful is broken
And grace is just the measure of a fall.

I had actually just made risotto for tea last night – butternut squash and mushroom – and it somehow appeared altogether less appealing...

And good luck with your first day at the new job, Maggie. You'll ace it, pet. xx
