Have a horrible feeling in the pit of my stomach that we're all about to be dragged into another war. Makes me feel sick. x

If they are going to intervene effectively without running the risk of destroying infrastructure and the lives of innocent people they would have to invade with ground troops. This of course won't be what they are considering, rather they will drop bombs or send drones and then what? How do they identify who is who? Will the decision makers in Syria be the ones who feel the force? No. Will the US and Britain be supporting the border countries and helping them to relocate the thousands of refugees to western Europe and America...err... They aren't even forcing the issue of talks. Syria is on the brink of civil war but how do they decide whose side to be on? Obama or should that be OBomber has been talking about "protecting our National security"...I mean, what about the refugees, those being killed and attached with chemical weapons, he might feasibly find a way of making some justification but...US security? Just how far they are removed from a clear and measured thought process.

What is happening in Syria is a disgrace, but it has happened across Africa with no intervention and of course Israel is well known for the way it treats the Palestinians and there is no US intervention. It's no time since Apartheid ended in South AFrica...no physical intervention there..

Making some loud bangs that might kill people is not my idea of resolving conflict and there needs to be more effort put into forcing communications. I despair, but hope and pray no war ensues and that somehow Syria will step back from the brink. We need Russia to show some world leadership for a change

i don't think anyone in this country wants to join another war after the last debacles,
but what would you want the world to do if you lived in syria ?

assad isn't going to talk to anyone unless russia make him, and they're not going to.
impossible to work out what to do,

leave them alone til one side slaughters the other with weapons banned by international law ?
talk and talk and still nothing happens and more people die ?
send some bombs in at the side that seems most bad and hope it tips the balance ?

And meanwhile, people are being massacred whilst it takes the heat off the issues at home.

It is absolutely sickening, we hear the numbers and the reports on the news, and every number is a child, a mum, a dad, being napalmed.

I have no idea what the answer is. Eradicate oil? Religion? Reprogramme brains to do away with blood lust and a thirst for power?

If anyone wants me I'll be in the hippy commune with a spliff. :BEEEER :afro: :dj: :geek:
