I think twisting my ankle today was almost the most painful thing that has happened -in the middle of a busy London street, I didn't cry but was rescued by some super posh hairdressers who rushed out of their shop to help me my poor daughter was mortified but very sweet - the most painful was definately childbirth the second time round when they wouldn't give me diamorphine!!! |

when i was a kid i came off my bike and took my left knee cap off too that was fuckin horrific and most emphatically the worst pain i have ever experienced,i still have a right war wound of a scar there........ho hum |

Dental abscess the sharpest. I'd had a temporary filling which fell out one Saturday and the abscess developed. Was in so much pain that I misheard the emerdgency dentist appointment at ten o'clock instead of two o'clock - so I sat on a wall in Hull for four hours waiting. The dentist had two goes at taking the tooth out before the anaethestic took. They nearly had to prise me off the ceiling. In the end he drilled into the tooth to inject the anaesthetic... But when your back goes it's worse ' cos you feel so old as weel as in serious pain. |

Guy Fawkes night when we were kids - we were only allowed sparklers and my little sis rubbed her eye afterwards. She woke up screaming in agony at 2 am and had to be rushed to hospital - all ok but she still says, even after having 5 kids, that was the worst pain ever! |
