Now that the smoking ban has been in effect for a couple of years here, no one complains about the good old days. the smokers step outside for a shim and then go back in. They don't smoke as much for sure and the bar is breathable. As a nonsmoker the worst thing is leaving a crowded smoky place and the stink just sticks on you and it is just as strong the next day. No one has mentioned second hand smoke either, and I immediately think of Christopher Reeve's wife who announced she has lung cancer. Never was a smoker but was cabaret singer and years and years of performing in crowded, smoky joints and she gets lung cancer. If you find it hard to do for yourself, try thinking about doing it for your family.
exactly man, it sounds like a foreign concept when its been the norm for so long but it really is a great thing. The politicians got it right for once.
