At last it stopped..

It was snowing for so long I moved my car onto the main road just in case I got 'snowed in'...gritters don't like small roads.

But thats not the case, thanks goodness.

It looks nice, but I hope we don't get anymore.

This global cooling is a real worry.

I thought I'd never see this kind of snow again so overall I like it, reminds me of winters growing up in the sixties.

Made it to central Manchester for work, kids school closed and wives boss told her not to come in. Only about three people in the office, hence I can do this without fear of anyone watching.

I abandoned my plans and worked at home today. A couple of friends called round just now and we had a snowball fight the front garden (hubby against the three 'girls' .... average age? .... er about 49-52 ish, then Baileys and hot chocolate with left over mince pies and brandy butter ...... Just about to take down the Christmas deccies but would like to leave them up as we are now snowed in and I would like to extend Christmas as we only put them up on the 18th December :D We were all reminiscing about winters like this when we were kids and the snow tipped into our wellies as we trudged to school - cue the Hovis theme tune :*: :*: :*: :*:

I hope it doesn't bugger up the Tube, otherwise I think I'll have to strap tennis racquets to my feet to get down the RFH. :?

Damn. I was going to wear my knee-high boots and all.
