yes same here just got back from walking the dog and i nearly fell arse over tit three times,deadly black ice and frozen slush,we were going to visit friends but decided to leave it out which is a real pisser |

No snow here  But its bloody freezing. I need to put the Xmas decorations away but I've just chucked them in the hall in bags - its sub-zero in the hall so that door is staying firmly shut! Mind you wouldn't be surprised if they're all frozen by the morning - the front door is quite ill-fitting!

Snow is groovy as long as you can continue doing what you what you want to do. It's when you can't go places e.t.c. it's a pain. Went out at the crack of dawn on Christmas morning driving around in snowy scenes. Had a lovely 'atmospheric' time.

Just had to drop one of my son's mates off at A&E. He thinks he's broken his collarbone - he was skateboarding in three inches of snow and ice, daft bugger!!!! |

Well it's well and truly back here. About 3 inches this morning and the city's ground to a halt before it had even got moving today.

Yeah, yet more snow. I really like the stuff, but it's a right pain in the arse when you can't use certain roads e.t.c. |

managed to get the kids to school but we are up to our knees here,i love it to be honest but it will mess up my plans this week,i was due in the studio to do a remix i had been looking forward to all crimbo but may have to wait..........right off to dig the car out and try and get some fuel as our coal man can't make it

the joy of it i forgot to mention,the news always goes on about how much the country lost cos of snow but never mentions all those Mothers and fathers that hardly see their families cos of work but now get a few days laughing and sledging together |

Too right, and you can't put a price on it. Thawing out with hot chocolate now, then off sledging in Oughtibridge Park.

Yet! I hope it really comes down tonight as I would like another day off - if its as bad as the day I travelled to Castleton I'm definitely staying at home!
As long as its all clear again by Saturday and the gig.......

Got to work for just before 9.00 to be sent home! Going at 7.30 there were hardly any cars on the road between Northwich and Macclesfield - coming back after 9.00 it wasn't that bad... Anyway Pubs open - so see thee later! |
