We were down there last night, and it was fooooooooooooookin cold.

What you are working on - owt to do with a certain legend, now solo, previously in one of the great bands, who will be releasing a new album later this year?

This snow is really pissing me off now.Somebody ran into the back of our car last Saturday, smashing all the back end off(pure accident, they slid down the hill).Fortunately they had the decency to knock on our door and gave their insurance details.
The insurance company couldn't get a garage out to pick the car up until Friday and said they would arrange a courtesy car to be delivered on Monday.Car firm rang up ,said they couldn't deliver until Thursday because of the snow.Said company, delivered the car yesterday by driving it into the deepest pile of snow on the road and dropping the keys through our letterbox and pissing off.
So,were still waiting for our car (that can't be moved)to be picked up and we have a courtesy car that i tried to move several times but is still stuck in the bastard snow.

Thaw,you bastard snow.

that sounds grim i know loads of folk that are having a shitty time cos of the snow but i am still enjoying it although i dare say that if i had had a similar experience i would be pissed off too, getting to the studio was a bit tricky today but only up the hill where i live,at the bottom of the hill its like another world

The upside to all this is that i've had another week off mostly spent talking bollocks on this forum. :D :D

while i have been sledging i noticed that folk of all ages mixed, teenagers don't tend to mix with the rest of us anymore and there were loads of them taking the little one's for sledge rides and mixing and chatting i think thats a good side to the snow,as is all those parents that work all the time having a bit of proper time just having a laugh with there loved one's that to me offsets all the other bollocks

We went sledging today too but we had to stop every few minutes because of loose dogs bounding up and terrifying the little ones. Grrrrrr......... The kids want to do it all again tomorrow - without the dogs.

Ironically the school was closed again today because the snow and ice posed a safety hazard.....so I strapped them to a sheet of plastic and threw them down an icy hillside instead!!!!

:D :eh?

There's something in this, Me & Mr Mandy have been going for walks on our days off since the snow arrived & everyone we have passed has been pleasant saying good morning & acknowledging us. Now i'm not saying that didnt happen before but it's happening more so. Bring it on lets get back to being nice to people :D :D
