I'm pissed off - we're the only place in the country that hasn't had any snow over the last few weeks (apart from a paltry 1/2 cm last night). Got the sledges ready and .... bogging nothing. |

None in Nottingham, and not a sign of any snow all the way back down to London so you are not alone. What snow there was didn't last long. In London it's just a dismal, slightly wet, normal winter day. |

None in Stoke either, after the weather forecast promised heavy snow last night. It just rained a lot. |

fuckin shit loads here you can haqve some of mine if you like,i took the dog for a walk with Tim McCall yesterday and he nearly weed himself laughing as i slid down bingham park path(about 800 yards)and couldn't stop.I ended up hurtling into a holly bush at a zillion miles an hour with the dog going mental......i was laughing uncontrollably after very funny.......i could do without the ice though scary stuff that..........the main worry i have is the potential for flooding after it melts, the river today was well high and very very fast |

I love that line Boy Hoy! We've had loads here in Edinburgh. All the locals (I'm not one, I hasten to add) say that they haven't seen snow like it for years. We live in a road that the council don't grit, and our little car park is still like an ice rink. I really was walking like Tina Turner just to get up the path. My 73 year-old parents are up visiting from down saarf, and we took them up Calton Hill in Edinburgh city centre....... the ice was so severe I'm sure they think I was trying to bump them off!!!! |
