Talk about choosing the worst time to be on the wagon

i don't like being drunk around the kids, tisn't right, and once the blue touch paper has been lit................i enjoy sobriety sometimes i get pissed a lot during the year but i like to just relax at crimbo and enjoy doing stuff with my kids so that means not doing adult stuff like getting drunk...although new years eve was another story,i actually didn't drink the whole time except three nights. If i have any sort of resolution this year its to spend more time with my family and when i do i am determined to be straight no big deal really

Sorry, I merely meant the temptation at that time of year  Good resolution! :D

I decided to stay at home today - too slippery out there, the paths are like ice rinks and trains not running very well. Weather warning in place for later today according to the BBC so think I've made the right decision. :D

No snow coming down at home but a small amount on pavements and some ice. At work no traces of snow at all.

Colleague on her way into Liverpool Street stuck because 3 trains have failed. Other colleague who comes in the same way has made it but he did leave at the crack of dawn.

We've had no more snow, but temperatures apparently plummeted to minus 15 degrees here during the night, rising to a bracing minus 7.9 degrees by 9.00 am. Bascially, it's cold!

What are you working on?
When can we hear it?
Who are you working with?
What colour pants have you got on?

That'll save somebody a job...

I'm sure if he uses both hands he'll find his regular one eventually.
