I came to put Trueloves Gutter on last night and to my horror the CD was not in the case. I checked upstairs, nothing. I checked in other recently used CD cases (including Kula Shaker, oh come on Tatva was a good tune) to no avail. I ran for the car, please, please, please, please, but no, only a strange odour, a dog chew and a scratched toots and the maytals cd were found.

Where the hell is it?! It's like when the remote disappears for no apparent reason. There is technically no other place it could be, unless a) someones nicked it, b) I've taken it somewhere and left it there, which I haven't.

Luckily there is a happy ending, I plugged the trusty ipod in to listen to it, but the cd mystery goes on...

I'll keep you all updated, I imagine you're all on the edges of your seats.

Clearly you're a man in desperate need of help.

yep checked the cd drive on the pc, not there.

I think i'm going to have to go through every cd case in the house, the same thing once happened with my Spaced DVD, it just simply disappeared. I searched everywhere and in the end resorted to buying it again, only to find it a week later sitting quietly in the Ferris Buellers Day Off case.

No doubt Richard will be cozying up to the Beautiful South as we speak

Have you looked in the fridge? I quite often find things there, honestly!

did the same thing when i went to ullapool t'other week. eagerly anticipating playing it to death in beautiful surroundings, took the cd case out, opended it and fucksticks, i'd left it in the cd player at home. thank god for itunes.

I can never find the remote and now my husband put some fancy surround sound up I can't figure out how to get the sound on so I don't even bother with the telly anymore.
