Sports Personality Of The Year is at the Arena this year. Now to be honest i'm rarely that bothered when it's actually on the tv, will dip in and out and watch a bit if i'm doing nothing else. Given it's in town though i thought it might be worth a dabble for a one off. Given it's a BBC event too i figured it should be fairly reasonable. Even more so when i read this on their website: Quote: This is not a commercial event, proceeds from ticket sales goes towards the cost of staging the event.
Delighted to find then it's only the small matter of a token £35 plus booking fees for tickets! So next time anybody grumbles about paying £30/£35 to see a band at the Arena, just remember, they're obviously playing for nowt and there purely for your entertainment! |
