I fell asleep in front of the TV last night (seem to do that a lot lately) and half woke up watching some awful phone-in thing where a bloke stands there blathering whilst receiving calls from the public, who have to 'find the missing word' & suchlike. Or did I just eat too much cheese for supper :eh?

thought they'd kicked all that into touch? i went to bingo many, many years ago as the girlfriends mum used to go and we went for an 'ironic' laugh. we won. we wern't popular as we were 'newcomers.' i enjoyed it. never been since though and there was a bar where i got suitably refreshed.

Beginners luck - the regulars will have hated you for it...

In the days when I was an insurance salesman one of the other guys in the office had a client who went to the bingo for a night out - a laugh - and a few beers with his mates and won the national prize of £50K...

Needless to say he was round there like a shot looking for some business...
