Is it just me, or have they become the James Bond Broadcasting Corporation this week?

From what i've heard of Radio 2 the last few days barely a link seems to have passed without a mention of the new film. This morning there was a piece on TV on Breakfast News too, supposedly about the onset of cinemas becoming digital, that was so cringingly obviously an advert for the new film it was embarrasing.

And as for the film itself, is it the worst name for a Bond film ever??? What happened to good old fashioned names that offered the promise of T&A and cars that can go underwater? Instead it's something that sounds like the spoutings of a heartbroken adolescent wannabe poet whos swallowed his physics homework.

I missed that cinema bit on BBC breakfast - I wondered what they were going to plump as the biggest thing since the invention of the talkies! :?

I don't like the title either............... or the move away from the trademarks (shaken, not stirred and Bond, James Bond)...... it can still be a new film but its just not a proper Bond one without those tongue in cheek references!

I really enjoyed the last film but am getting a bit annoyed with all the hype for this one - it puts me off!

I hate adverts on the BBC - perhaps they have put money into the film or something - or "product placement"?

Not as bad as Jonathan Ross's arse-kissing of Ricky Gervais and Gordon Ramsey the other night.....huge bag of stale wank.

I've never seen a Bond film all the way through - but even I know Quantum Of Solace is an Ian Fleming phrase and part of the producers apparent desire to take Bond back to its roots - Batman Begins-style. anyway looks a bit dull - give me the Bourne series any day.

Really?

I grew up on them - every time there was one on it was compulsory to watch (literally!) ................ they got a bit tedious in the end.......... :*:

I like Lazanby as Bond.....somehow I do not fancy the new Bond movies............the old 1960s ones....when the bad guys were Russians and the women looked so cool.
