I quite agree! I guess its all about "pester power" as well, starting so early..............

I went to a boot sale this afternoon and there was a whole stand selling christmas stuff which I object to (1) cos its beautiful out there today - the last gasp of summer as it were and (2) it was new stuff - for goodness sake you don't go to a boot sale to buy new stuff! Aagh!!!!

This got me thinking - I threw out my horrible Xmas tree last year so I'd be "forced" to buy a new one............... ebay have got loads and perhaps I should be getting one before everyone puts their prices up for the festive season..........

I want a nice white one................... I can't have real as its too much clearing up and the cat would probably try to climb it or eat it or something................... :?

I have 'contacts' with the local branch of Oxfam.........I have managed to get my hands on some divine 1950s decorations.........so this year I am going for a real tree...............my dad always has a real tree and it always looks great.
Here we go chit chatting about christmas.........Eoin will be livid.
Once October is here I find it is upon us really quick..........have to say I love christmas...............even though it's never how I really want it to be...........

Spitalfields Antiques Market have a stall that sells 50's Xmas decs (around November/December) - they are absolutely gorgeous! But sadly I cant buy them because they are glass and the cat has a tendency to try and play with them and as they're breakable its dangerous.................. :?

I love all the horror movies they show around then but that's about it................... the worst thing is thats usually around the time when fireworks start and my cat hates them - actually so do I! :?

In the driving rain, every ticket costs the same
For where you can't go
Mustang horses, champagne glasses
Anything frail anything wild
It's the price of living motion, what's beautiful is broken
And grace is just the measure of a fall.
