I don't smoke but both my parents do and so does my boyfriend and quite a few of my friends. I don't like it but as long as they don't inflict it on me or try to get me to try one (never have) then i don't have a problem with it. I don't like it but that's my perogative. I do perfer pubs and clubs now you can't smoke in them. Not getting in after a night out and reeking of stale smoke.

Hey those of you that smoke fair enough to you. I just have to say that every cigerette you smoke takes approximately 7 minutes off your life so enjoy the rest of them more intenesly! Sorry if i sound pompus am slightly drunk and found out one of my best friends mum died a couple of days ago at the ages of 45!!!

Sorry to hear that - that's far too young............. :?

I don't like smoking - I've never felt the need to try it myself - but I must say I almost prefer going out in smoky venues - I went into a London pub a few weeks ago and it absolutely reeked of BO - I'd rather smell the smoke than that! :*:

And leaving the Brixton Academy last night was interesting - all those rockers standing outside lighting up - hundreds of them!

Until recently I'd always lived with smokers, yet don't smoke myself. Have you noticed that people have no hesitation in telling you that you smell of smoke, yet would doubtlessly get all offended if you said they smelled of B O, or dogs or something
