It's our Anniversary (not married, just going steady :wink: ) and, like the very first time we went out
together, we're off to the Grand National. This is our 10th year so we've splashed out a bit and got
seats. It will save the embarrassment of having to be picked up having fallen over pissed! :Hoorah

Found a hotel near Shakespere's for any upcoming WWM gig - how I never found it before I don't know...

It has only just opened..... End of March I think. Very close to Shakespeare's so you won't have far to stumble back to the hotel.

Yeah it was a police station until recently. Not sure if they have any very cheap and cheerful budget rooms in the basement still...

Unpleasant tea time conversation number 700, where I had to intervene as my boys were calling each other "smeg". I explained what it meant, which came as a surprise to them, especially as they called friends at school it, and their best world in Minecraft is named it. Needless to say, after the initial hilarity, neither of them much fancied their salmon pasta, with an extra creamy sauce. And I doubt if it will be on the menu again.
