Sorry to gate crash the guitar thread when I know nothing about guitars but my husband wants a silent guitar. Anyone know anything about them and if they are worth the £500 price tag?

They are the budget version of Air guitars.

Oh dear. The purchase is not looking good then. To be honest there is hardly anything to them although a bit more than air guitars  but apparently the sound is fantastic through ear phones. So I'm told. By my husband. Who wants one.

Get it bought woman - and while you're at it make me a cup of tea... :eye: :eye: :eye:

Actually not knowing what they were I looked them up and found that Tanayo do them at about £200 - although Yamaha have the best write ups but as you say cost another £300.

Now excuse me I've got the ironing to do

And of course it is a Yamaha that he wants.......
I phoned Pete at Electro Music and he says people tend to use them when they are touring to practise because they are also very light. My husband says he will be able to play and won't disturb me but get mega sound himself. Oh I suppose he ought to have one. Life's too short. I veer from 'it's people who are important not things' to 'Life's too short - get what you want and enjoy it'. I suppose the two aren't mutually exclusive.
I've got a pile of ironing too PD if you're not busy....

How that tea coming along?

I have the same thing about buying a Danelectro 63 short scale bass - I've had a Crafter acoustic guitar for years - and I would like a drum kit - but I lack real drive motivation my ability is virtually nil - I spend too much time gazing out of the window at clouds / drinking beer / eating pie and chips / going to see bands rather than being in a band - but I'm happy  :*:
