Hi Guys, Well I'm the happy owner of a Gretsch Anniversary and I'm looking for a good amp BUT without Tube (I've allready have one) What I need is a transistor amp for clean sound, small power is enoug it's for recording my stuff. All ideas are welcome. Greetings from Paris France, Chris |

if you are after summat non-valve then i can recommend the Vox Valvetronix series. they do a 15 watter that sounds great, although i would be tempted to go fro a small valve amp tho. i bought a Vox Lil' Night Train recently that sounds fantastic, it's only 2 watts but plenty loud enough for bedroom use / small gigs / recording etc. you can get em for around £250. http://www.voxamps.com/modernclassic/lilnighttrain/ |
