Just wondering what folks tend to play. I know its a very personal thing. i personally favour quite high guage - 12s on my accoustic and 11s or 12s on my electrics HAS to be a wound 3rd string though...

Its just makes me laugh sometimes when i go into a guitar shop and ask for 12 guage electrics with a wound third and they gasp! as if I asked for telephone wires!! then they slap them down and on the packet they are classed as "light" guage..

each to their own i have to say..

so what do you all play?

(can -worms... pass the opener! )

Ernie Ball Skinny top-Heavy bottom for Gretsches and solid's, Rotosound Flatwound for Jazzy stuff, Earthwood 80/20 Bronze Silk & Steel for acoustic, Savarez Argentine for Gypsy Jazz guitar. Oh, and LaBella for mandolin.
