I've tried various Trem and reverb pedals and not really got on with them. Trouble is where I am there is so little chance to try. I keep returning to a Digitech RP355 multifx. I only use the delay, reverb and trem on it and they are great but it's a heavy beast. So I am looking for some kind of replacement, any views?

I've got a Strymon Flint and it is easily the best trem pedal I've used. It also has the, not so small, added bonus of also being one of the best reverb pedals I've heard too. I love it. One switch to turn on trem and a second for reverb so they are fully independent. It's worth picking up a strymon "favourite switch" too which goes in the expression pedal input and allows you to save and recall a favourite setting.

The RRP is pretty steep but it's really two pedals in one and I've seen them second hand. I picked one up on ebay for 180 bucks. I'd have paid that for a decent sepearate reverb pedal and a decent trem. Instead you get two lush sounding effects in one box for the same price.

I have a strymon blue sky for reverb, and it's warm and sumptuous. The only knock I would put on strymon is they all seem to have that similar vibe and overlap to a degree.
